VerifiedLayer (verifiedlayer.tech) operates as a programmatic query orchestration system. We do not employ an editorial board, manual survey teams, or human ranking committees to assign Confidence Scores, data metrics, or category tier positions to tracked software vendors.
Because our Version 2.0 Pure Prompt Inversion Model relies on executing exactly forty-three (43) highly structured prompts across four (4) independent, major Large Language Model (LLM) engines each month, all score evaluations represent synthesized software engineering and visibility markers retrieved directly by third-party AI platforms. Consequently, VerifiedLayer cannot manually edit, artificially override, or subjectively adjust any assigned integer score. This Score Dispute Policy outlines the exclusive administrative mechanisms available to tracked Vendors wishing to challenge a calculated scoring footprint.
Our orchestration pipeline contains strict mathematical safeguards to prevent foundational data corruption or unverified platform evaluations. A dispute will only be escalated to a programmatic review if it intersects with the system’s native Quality Gate Safeguards:
2.1: Fabrication and Hallucination Thresholds
If a third-party AI engine registers an unverified data extraction or factual fabrication level exceeding 15% for a specific vendor profile during its monthly compilation cycle, the system automatically triggers a localized programmatic prompt re-run. If fabrication markers exceed 30%, the orchestration code automatically applies a protective score floor of 45.
2.2: Evidence Ceilings
The scoring logic requires verified documentation presence across public digital spaces. If fewer than two (2) independent public source domains (such as public API registries, open developer repositories, or enterprise architectures) are successfully mapped during Step 1 of an engine call, an absolute score ceiling of 45 is applied. Profiles showing more than 50% LOW confidence prompt returns are automatically restricted to an aggregate score ceiling of 55 and appended with a “Limited Evidence” public marker.
3.1: Exclusively Managed Email Input Pipeline
VerifiedLayer does not host an on-site, public web interface or open input form for submission of user reviews (such as a /write-a-review route). To ensure the highest level of authenticity and to eliminate automated review-bot fraud, all practitioner sentiment inputs, code-use case validations, and supplementary engineering testimonials are processed exclusively through our managed email verification channels.
3.2: Supplementary Evidence Submissions
Tracked Vendors who believe that their public documentation, API structures, or user footprint have been misinterpreted by the third-party LLMs may submit direct, verifiable supplementary documentation via email to disputes@verifiedlayer.ai.
To initiate a formal score dispute assessment, an authorized Vendor Representative must have completed the profile validation funnel (/vendor/get-verified) and submit a written request to disputes@verifiedlayer.ai containing the following technical data block:
Upon receipt of a valid dispute package, the VerifiedLayer technical queue will analyze the system log data from the most recent monthly 172-query compilation array.
5.1: Programmatic Quality Gate Re-Run
If the audit demonstrates that one or more third-party AI engines suffered an isolated data retrieval error or a factual fabrication level exceeding the 15% Quality Gate threshold, VerifiedLayer’s sole operational obligation is to clear the local caching layer and execute a Programmatic Quality Gate Re-Run. The system will re-query the third-party AI engines using the updated documentation pointers provided in the dispute package.
5.2: Mathematical Output Acceptance
The output of the programmatic re-run is final. Because the pipeline calculates variance dynamically using a computed Cronbach’s alpha (α) coefficient, any score adjustment will be determined entirely by the automated interaction between the foundational prompts and the third-party models. VerifiedLayer developers do not possess the system access permissions required to input a manual score override or alter an integer position by hand.
Score disputes are limited to one (1) programmatic review request per vendor profile per calendar quarter. Rankings displayed on our category leaderboards (/{category}) fluctuate continuously as the market footprint of alternative products evolves. Continued submission of unsubstantiated dispute packages or attempts to manipulate our email verification channels may result in the temporary suspension of a Vendor Representative’s dashboard privileges.
