Egnyte is a hybrid-cloud content governance and document management platform for regulated industries (life sciences, financial services, construction, AEC, defense/CMMC), used for centralized document storage, governance, and compliance reporting. It is an independent, privately-held company (co-founded by CEO Vineet Jain) that has raised roughly $136M total and, in February 2025, took a majority growth investment from GI Partners and TA Associates after shelving a previously planned IPO.
