IBM Turbonomic

IBM Turbonomic is an application resource management (ARM) platform that continuously and automatically optimizes workload placement, sizing, and cost across hybrid cloud environments. Founded in 2010 as VMTurbo, it rebranded to Turbonomic before being acquired by IBM in 2021 (announced at roughly $2 billion). Turbonomic is now part of IBM's broader AIOps and hybrid cloud automation portfolio, focused on measurable infrastructure cost savings and FinOps use cases.
