New Relic is an all-in-one observability platform for monitoring applications, infrastructure, and digital experience, combining APM, logs, and infrastructure telemetry under a single consumption-based pricing model. Founded by Lew Cirne in 2008, New Relic helped pioneer SaaS-based application performance monitoring. It was taken private in November 2023 in a roughly $6.5 billion acquisition by Francisco Partners and TPG, after trading publicly on the NYSE under the ticker NEWR since 2014.
