Zendesk is a widely used customer service and support platform (helpdesk, ticketing, live chat, knowledge base) originally founded in Copenhagen, Denmark in 2007 before relocating its headquarters to San Francisco. Zendesk traded publicly on the NYSE under the ticker ZEN before being taken private in 2022 by a consortium led by Hellman & Friedman and Permira in a deal valued at approximately $10.2 billion.
